I'm currently building my first strip boat. I bought a Redfish "Spring Run" kit so forms and wood strips were already done before I started. I've kept a log of all my hours to keep track of how long it would take. I mated the hull and deck last weekend and remaining is sanding and varnishing, installing bulkheads, footrests and misc outfitting. I'm at 165 hours of build time but probably spend half again that much just admiring it over an adult beverage. I think I've got about 40 hours to go so it should come in real near 200 hours.

This has been the most enjoyable project I've ever done and I can't wait to build another strip boat.
