Who keeps track of time? Do you know anyone who tracks their time on the golf course or while fishing? That said, my hybrid double from plans (Boat 5) took me about 150 hours (but I don't reaaly know). My strip canoes were that or a bit less. I expect a strip kayak would be 150 to 200 or so for the basic strips for me - no fancy inlays.
