Paddle: 2pc to 4pc paddle conversion

Does anyone know of a resource for converting a 2pc to a 4pc paddle for travel?
Either a repair shop , or a parts supplier? I have both a FG and a Carbon paddle to convert.
Or is this a bad idea to begin with?
