I have used a 4-piece paddle from Aqua-Bound for many years with no problem or loosening. Some of the Alaska wilderness adventurer trippers and racers use them also.
They sell ferrules for the middle of their paddles and probably would sell some for the ends or do it for you. They have always been very helpful to me with several custom requests over the years.
