I'm taking a cell phone, because coverage is so good. I'll be posting daily or hourly via Twitter, and then I'll be posting bigger blog entries once a week either via cell phone to someone to type up, or via wi-fi along the way. I'm taking a computer - a netbook - brand unknown at this point, because I'm hoping for a bit of sponsorship in that department.

I'm still in the planning stages of the stopovers, etc... I'm going to be very flexible and am breaking everything into week long segments. I'll have, at least, one support person at home to help with supplies, etc... She'll be meeting me at some locations. This trip is so urban in places that I'm going to have to be very fast and flexible about my stops.

As I know more about equipment, I'll post on the website. There's an RSS feed there to help everyone follow along. I'm in the process of putting the final gear list together... Otherwise, I'll just use my standard kit. Advice is welcome.
