Sigh!

: I hate to tell all of you freezing in the north, but it was a wonderful
: T-shirt day here in Southern California.

I could tell by all the smiles that the weather was great and everyone ejoyed themselves. Reminded me of the time I went to R2K6, was great fun. That said, I have no choice but to cope with conditions here in Edmonton, Canada, eh! Wind chill at -23 C, snowing and the river slowly freezing. The river is still open though and I plan on getting out on it this Saturday. There is sheet ice floating on the surface, all shallow areas are now capped with solid ice but for me, it still looks like great conditions to go out and have fun. This could be my last paddle of the season because the weather is supposed to cool off to a painful -23 C before any windchill is considered. Can't wait to get out there! :)
