A paddling buddy who lives in Victoria found a mill just out of town that had some really nice cedar and at a good price. He was buying the wood to build a 5-6 ft high fence around his entire lot. The mill cut the wood to his specified lengths from much longer pieces...! He showed me pictures of the finished fence and I just about choked... there wasn't one knot in the entire fence...
