: Would it be worth building some or is it better to buy commercial ones?
: Anybody have plans? I'm building s&g and strip. Thanks.

In the KISS vein, opted for a doughnut shaped foam (2" thick) foot-pad that rests against the (3" foam) bulk-head. It fits snug to the interior of the boat and uses a couple small pieces of double-stick carpet tape to help secure it as it had dislodged (and floated about; yikes!) during a couple wet-exits. Measures +/-3" at the sides and +/- 2" top and bottom with tapered edges - just like a doughnut. Even at only a couple inches depth, the hole lets you stretch and adjust a bit.

If you need to accommodate different sized folks in your boat, cut a couple extra foam spacers to fine-tune adjustments. Beauty is the stuff weighs virtually nothing.
