I have too much time on my hands this evening. The lab is quite, no work tonight yet I must be here so I am blasting the lab with Amanada Marshal's "Let it Rain" and playing solitaire. I could be working on my book but I don't feel like doing that tonight. Am pondering the wisdom of paddling in -37 C weather (including windchill) tomorrow. I am ent"iced" by the idea and yet concerned. Then again, the coolest I have paddle in before was -10 C, the ice build up on the decks wasn't too bad...tomorrow it could be interesting to say the least. I guess as long as the river doesn't freeze solid tonight then I will go out. I am supposed to go out with my steady squeeze and her adult children Saturday night to linger on Whyte Avenue (popular Edmonton night club strip) and heat things up a little. She warned me that her kids are crazy...I don't think she knows what crazy is: agreed?
