My daughter and I are thinking of building a CLC Wood Duck 12 hybrid for her 16th birthday. It appears to be ideal for her paddling style (casual) and places (flat lakes, with occasional jaunts on Tahoe). I'm going to try ordering just the hull panels and bulkheads, as we've got everything else we need to strip a deck, build hatches, glass, etc.

Anyone built one? What do you think? Thanks!
