I had an issue where one of my studs sheared off the baseplate. I used a dremel with a cutting disk to remove the glass from the base plate and then a heat gun and my scraper to pry the plate from the hull. Took about 20 minutes. Make sure you have a good mask and goggles - lots of dust in a very confined area.
:I finished my expedition single this morn and put it in the water and it was
: really nice. But,The adjustable foot braces are adjusted all the way
: forward and just fits but snug with no more adjustment.I used the studs
: bonded to the inside of hull. Can I safely cut them off the hull so I can
: get more adjustment or should I live with it?
