I think bracing as Dennis said is the way to match a curve. If the hatch can bend straight it can bend back to a curve. Cut out the hatch. Then take some poster board and tape a piece on the deck across the opening matching the deck curve. Then take a piece of the poster board and insert that into the opening and trace the edge contour to get the curve. Use that curve as a template to make some bracing.
