Briefly, Its got all that stuff and more. Seriously though, Its a very find "Greenland" kayak-- It doesn't weathercock like many West Coast (Greenland) kayaks-- it lets you do the steering in all wind & wave conditions.... It doesn't fight you at all. Very little windage on it. Its a very wet ride in surf but it can get you in and out, that is, if you can get it in and out. Stability and rolling are 99.9% the person using it, but FWIW, I've put beginners in it and I used it to train for the Greenland Comps in 2000. This is all based on my replica of the same kayak show in the Building Journal. I built this first replica in 1998; the one in the Journal is presently on Walden Pond, MA, and I've never been in it. Hopefully the Pond Scum will have a better report; I'm told they get 6" waves there sometimes (which is more than enough to wash over this kayak), and I'm trying to encourage them to organize an expedition to cross Walden Pond if the Nor'easters ever let up.
