I might be wrong, but I thought it was in Nick Schade's book "The Strip-Built Sea Kayak".

: You don't need those kind of bubble eliminating rollers unless you will apply
: four layers of glass wet-out at the same time or if you use fiberglass
: mat.

: Go over your one layer of 6 or 4 oz. glass with a plastic squeegee cut from a
: milk carton and remove excess resin and bubbles in one pass.
