Strip: Skeg for a Night Heron

Hi,

I know I've seen posts about adding skegs to Night Herons, but can't find them at present.

I'd be interested to know where it should be placed - i.e distance from the stern, or at a particular form location - for optimal performance.

My NH will have a light layup, and be used as a dayboat/general boat rather than a heavy expedition boat, so given it will be light and I paddle in a windy bay I'm planning on having a skeg so some better tracking.

Open to opinions...

Thanks,
Darren
