And one more showing a detail of the blade, the back face is scalloped with a stiffening ridge down the middle, the groove down the centre I had seen in some plans and thought it looked cool. The power face is dead flat with a tiny bit of round over on the edges to keep them from chipping. And the power face is set flat with the edge of the loam, its only tapered on the one side.
The loom is also egg shaped, but the pointy end forward.

Oh and I use the blade with the grooved side forward, flat side aft. The other way just looks and feels so very wrong. (starting up that argument again....)
