Hi Scott,

As width grows the paddle stroke is forced apart like trying to double paddle a canoe, while it works it's not anywhere as efficient as a similiar stroke in a narrow kayak.

It's a trade off, stability for efficiency.

Right now working on adjustable cross beams so I can fairly easily change the width to see what works and more importantly, what doesn't.

Luckily since the hulls shape works I can permanantly cover their bottoms at least, leaving the top open for adjustments.
