Strip: Seat advice wanted for MicroBootlegger canoe

Hi All,
It's been a while since I posted, but the Microbootlegger is finished and has been to Colorado and back.

Other than it's been a great canoe and head-turner, I need some suggestions on seating. I've made some nice foam pads that are comfortable, but the wooden back band are less than perfect.

The Micro-BootLegger is an open cockpit, thus I have no combing to attach the front seat to and keep it 'up'. It just drifts down when we lean back on them.

I've checked out the Red Fish seats. They have a good rep, but I'd rather have something with more pizazz, if you know what I mean. Do the Red Fish seats have good support, can you lean back into them without them collapsing? I'm 260, she's much less than that.

Any ideas much appreciated!

Thanks,
