: Greenland paddles are an easy faith to get converted to!

Not for everybody they ain't. It took me at least a full year of steady struggling to get it going on for real, and I'm pretty sure I'd have never stuck with it if it hadn't been for watching a friend using his with such obvious effectiveness the whole time. It also helped when I moved into a boat that responded well to the stick I was working with. But once it came alive for me, I began using it exclusively, and have never looked back.

Well, I take that back; did too once, and recently. But I'm doing well erasing the trauma from my consciousness. Ooof!

At any rate, I think everyone can agree that we're all different; while most take to it instantly, not everyone does. Most people have a tough time mastering the Eskimo roll, but I picked it up just as soon as someone showed me how (then struggled for 6 months to get it on my offside - sigh). Anyway, I just had to toss this in for all those poor lost souls who have tried the stick but don't like it. You gave up before it kicked in, is what I gotta say.
