My name is Kevin, I live in Metro Detroit which is in the state of Michigan. I am very interested in Nick Schade's Petrel and have spoken with him about going out to Connecticut for a chance to see and paddle this boat. Nick suggested that I post a request looking for someone closer to where I live, before making the long trip out to see him. I'm hoping to find someone with this boat, who would be willing to allow me the chance to see and paddle it before committing to building it. I'd like to be sure it is the right boat for me.
