So in taking Bill's advice to look at moving the Kevlar on my initial laminating schedule, I have taken a long hard look at the use of a "wood core" in my one-off whitewater composite build. And I am basically eliminating it as much as I can from the equation. I'm moving pretty much all material to the outside of the build, especially the more exotic fabrics.

Here is the plan going forward:

~Hull~ (from outside to inside)

S-Glass(6oz) : Kevlar(5oz) : S-Glass(6oz) : Kevlar(5oz) : Polyester(5oz) : 4mm Okoume : E-Glass(6oz)

~Deck~ (from outside to inside)

S-Glass(6oz) : Poly(5oz) : S-Glass(6oz) : Poly(5oz) : 4mm Okoume : E-Glass(4oz)

I basically am just reorganizing the exact amount of fabric i was planning on using before, and putting all of the Kevlar on that Hull. Should hold up fairly well I hope~
