I used 'rescued' wood for my forms - primarily 3/4" plywood that needed a new home, but also some MDF. MDF shapes nicely, for 'trimming up to the line', but doesn't hold a staple too well. I haven't really mastered 'staple=less', but in spite of using orphan wood and recycled goods - the boats looking purty darn good. Might even be good enough to post here! (No promises yet...)
