Strip: filling gaps.

Darn, feel like I have a ton of questions for forum people...but...being first time....everything is so new. Am ready to start filling little gaps and cracks in the hull. planing/sanding kinda brought out some spots where coves covered small gaps. Have sawdust and the flour stuff. Do I HAVE to use the MAS resin...or can I just use one of the doubleTubed epoxy things you buy at Home Depot? or even mix in the sawdust with the Triton glue??? No clue about what effect the fiberglassing later on??!? HELP!
