You will be fine with the 10-micron particle size. Mix in enough to get it as white as you can, push the mixture to 20 % if you have to. Enough layers to create a white finish coat will be no problem. Remember that the HBN is what causes the lubricating qualities, so don't cover the final HBN coating with anything. I have had the stuff on the hull of my kayak for three years now and it is holding up well. Personally, I think it slips a little better than graphite but that could just be my imagination. Works well on ice and soon I will have the chance to run more ice to prove it again.
