You know, the design is so simple I had trouble wrapping my mind around how it had not been tried yet... Which is the funny part, because they claim they are more or less the first company to be producing bulkheads like that. Ah well, goes to show how hard to really is to have a truly original idea.

With as much work as I am doing on designing and building this boat, I could never imagine going into commercial production... The labor involved in a hand-made boat is quite steep. I'm not sure my girlfriend would hang with me for very long if I did start building them on commission, let alone if I could convince someone to buy one for the $3,000 it would cost to even make back part of my labor... But I will have for myself a sweet boat when I'm done, which was of course my initial goal~
