Microballoons are used as a thickener for epoxy mixes that will require sanding. They don't offer any benefits like fibers or fumed silica.
If a stripper is built properly the wood shows thru' nicely. Applying a microballoons mix would just spoil the look of the wood. Painting a stripper is a sign you have something to hide.

: Does any one use microballons as a coating on strip-built canoe /
