Hi Chris,

Quite a few builders have used CF to build coamings and also paddles. While the average builder may not use it, it's not all that exotic anymore, it's just awfully expensive. The expense alone keeps many from experimenting with it. It's one thing to waste a few dollars and time doing an experiment with fiberglass and epoxy, quite another thing when the fabric is $30+ a yard.
