Lovely shot, lovely kayak, congratulations!!

It's a real treat to see another VOLKSKAYAK join the fleet. My first VK, the RightWind, is the first VK built by a Newfoundlander for Newfoundland waters (hence my vk1nf handle). Since then, there have been over a dozen VKs built here at least, and I've had a finger in the pie with all of 'em! Designer Gerry Gladwind reckons he worked directly with about 800 VK builders; most of them have gone on to do at least one more VK, meaning there are probably something approaching 1,500 of them out there somewhere, mostly in the Maritimes. You'll find you've got yourself a fine kayak, very comfortable and forgiving - enjoy it...
