Strip: Somewhat confused with Night Heron plans

Finally, some time to start with the construction of the Night Heron. The plans have been gathering dust for a long time...

I was reading about the length of the strongback needed, and got a bit confused. Can someone help me? Here's the
problem:

The plans mention a 13' 11" strongback, but:

1) If I consider the side views of the bow and stern, and supposing they have to be glued to forms 15 and 3, and that those
are _inside_ the markings each foot, then the strongback has to be 14' long, according to the drawings.

2) On the other hand, if I check the 'Stacked Form drawing', it tells me forms 16 and 2 don't have to be cut out for the strongback,
which would make it 13' 11" long, but then the drawings are wrong?

I realize this isn't really all that important, but still... can someone enlighten me?
