Hello all,
I got a free bandsaw a few years ago that was sitting outside in the rain. It's made by Central Machinery. A little research led me to believe that it's identical to the Grizzly 14". Despite being in the rain the table has almost no rust and the rest of the saw is in great shape except the blade guide. I am wanting to get one of the Carter band saw conversions but they aren't exactly cheap at $169. Just was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. The idea seems good- wheels instead of blocks for all three sides of the blade top and bottom. It's cheaper than buying a new saw.
