The problem with end pours is not wether it's good or not but the logistics of doing it, especially in winter.

If you do a wood or epoxy fill of the end of the hull tips as the other people said, remember to epoxy down the deck tips later. When you tape the deck and hull together in preparation for the internal glass taping, pry open the ends and put some thickened epoxy in and tape them down again.
