: Hello everyone and the best whishes for the new year, better late
: than never...

: I'm nearing the completion of my Yost sea tour 15 exp frame and
: have a question concerning the attachment of the seat slats.

: I've made 5 WRC 2x1/8" slats to function as my seat, same
: slats the 3 feet slats. I've covered the slats with fibreglas
: tape to make them stronger. They're approx 13 inch long and go
: between the bottom chines, spanning the keel. I'd like your
: input on how to attach them, making it possible to remove them
: if needed. No screws.

Well that's different, sideways slats for a seat. I usually do them in plywood cause it's faster. Lashing sounds like a good idea if you'd want to be able to remove them and not using screws.
