: hello everyone I hope all is well.

: Ive seen a few posts on decorating Boats and seen some photos. what
: in everyones opinions is the most secure method of decorating a
: S&G boat.

: I understand the epoxy problem and have read about plenty of inlays
: de laminating lifting ...

: 1) wood onlays/inlays

: 2) paper decal can it be painted with watercolors?? or only printed
: with waterproof ink??

: 3) wood burning seems to be a good though time consuming option!!!
: Im pondering this option

: 4) paint design right over final finish

: 5) good artist with sharpies right on boat (bleed??)

: your thoughts please Im just planning what to do

: seems like S&G boats need somthing to spruce them up a bit.

: many thanks

#1 Inlays I like a lot. I've tried copper wire, solder and wood. Practice a bit on scrap wood. Pics later if you like.
#2. Study up on decoupage.
#3 Pyrography is cool. But remember you have to burn very dark to make the design visible in sunlight. I'll try to get some pics later.
