I have just bought my cedar from a mill in town. I asked for the equivelent of 18' by 24" (I think this is more than enough i don't know) and was pleasently surprised that they where special cutting "boat wood" for another customer so I will be getting full length 18' boards purpose cut and about 24" worth wide (because I requested clear wood if there is any imperfections across the length I will still get that wood but that amount will be added in clear at no cost to the amount... so 24"x 18' could turn into more who knows...sweet I know) the cost was awesome 3.20 can. a board foot 130 after tax
