: Question - My warehouse is ice cold (around 40 degrees) and no way
: I am paying to heat it. Would it work just as well to peg and
: lash it and skip the epoxy/glue all together? I am talking
: chines, keel, and gunwales. (no warm temps in sight)

Lashing is IMHO the idea way. I have built 3 or 4 now and I lash all mine with no glue in frame at all. Get some waxed artificial sinew and just lash them tight. I know a lot of people use different things to lash with and all of them will work. But the beauty of waxed sinew is when you let off tension the joint doesn't loosed up. It sticks to itself and makes 'tying off' much easier. After doing a few I am a convert! All my boats will be lashed from now one

I made a video on lashing. www.kudzucraft.com/video/lashing.php
