How far along are you on the build? You said 3 months ago and I assume it's done?

I would paddle and enjoy the boat and don't obsess over your pre-concieved goals of "perfection". You built the boat to enjoy the experience as well as achieving something that will bring you years of pleasure. Stripping down a boat is no pleasure at all and if you were going to do that, why not wait until next year and see how you feel then. You may want to build another boat and make modifications or you may be as happy and content as can be with what you have. Right now you're in a state of emotional stress and let that go and look at the positive.
