No, well maybe? I am familiar with the Wee Lass and Sarry Gamp and some of the others. I wanted to build a strip version several years ago but never did. I didn't work off any one else's design. I actually designed this one from scratch but I guess it is a mutation of some sort. I Just laid out my goals, did some research and this is what I came up with. Hopefully it will suit the water I will paddling on and be a good fishing boat. I suspect I wouldn't like it on the open water.
