I don't know about that... It seems that they are trying to make a 10ft boat feel like a 14ft boat. The cat may be the trick. Make it lighter weight and easier to store. For all the "normal" population that would be a good thing. Of cource, I've never seen one or paddled one, so I have no clue what if paddles like, but it looks like an interesting boat.
