I currently have a sedan with no roof rack, and since my next vehicle will likely have one I'm trying to see if I can get by with used gear until then.

Right now I am able to get Yakima clamps and rack at a good price, and a Hull A Port (not pro) from Thule. I'm wondering how easy it is to make one brand fit with another. Can anybody help?
