Seeking: Kayak builders from Ann Arbor or SE MI

I am looking for people that have built recreational or smaller sea kayaks and live in the Southeastern Michigan area, preferably the Ann Arbor area. I am looking at the Guillemot or a Petrel, but I would like to see an example or possibly even try one out before I choose the kayak I will build.
