Bill, the okoume ply is really nice to work with and i have a couple of sheets 'lying' around from a previous wanted to do but didn't finish project.

I'd like to do somekind of summer course with youngster and for that i'll probably go with bruynzeel garant sheets. Costs about the half and has a garantee of about 10 years and they are also okoume, but the outer layer is only .6 mm instead of the 1 to 1.5 for the hechthout. Also no hollows in these garant sheets.

There's a really good source of marine ply in the UK, not that it's much good to you, although the ship worldwide at very reaonable rates, and their prices are about 30 to 40% cheaper than Bruynzeel's and still feature a full 1mm outer layer of okoume.
