S&G: How thick should the epoxy be?

I am getting quite close to finishing building my wife's Arctic Tern 14. I do notice, however that I have some varying thicknesses of epoxy over the hull. It seems that I applied the epoxy more thinly on the more vertical sections of the hull and there are a few places where you can still make out the pattern of the weave underneath. Should I put another layer of epoxy on these sections or should I just sand it down less than the rest? This is my first boat build so I have no real idea what it should look like.

Thanks

Rod
