I personally am not a big fan of MDF. Never tried the sealed stuff you mention but if it's like what they use for cabinet doors it still eventually fails down here. I have a whole lot of s4s poplar and will frame the cabinet with that and back that with half-inch ply. It will be a rolling cabinet using the same casters that Ridgid uses on their big table saws. I also hope to fit a router table to it. My idea is to buy a second set of fence rails from Ridgid and mount them on the cabinet so the fence can extend to 48". Let's see what happens first with the basic plan just to build the thing
