The words flying cutoffs made me cringe for sure. As Bill said I had my thumb mangled by a kicked back cutoff from a strip. I still use my tablesaw but I have designed a much better sliding jig now.

Not a big fan of routers just because of the noise but I like that little jig. And no flying cutoffs!
