I must have missed this write up previously. I just read it now :)

Confirms that the Firestar is likely the right boat for me, just need a boat that's got a bit more room inside, all my present boats are pretty snug, designed that way. Specially in the spring when I've not been paddling all winter, having room to flex would make the start of the season much more comfortable. I'm about 30 lbs. lighter than you, thus the model difference. I'm used to Rob's plans and build after the Disko Bay. Also the baidarka looks like it would be a fun and challenging build :)
