: Good day all,

: In preparation to build a SOF I found 20 feet of real sinew and
: thought it might be cool to build a yak with real sinew. I was
: wondering about shrinkage, rot, and other durability issues as
: this will be a user kayak- not a display item! I plan on it to
: see a lot of salt water and a lot of sunlight. Anyone out there
: see any problems with using real deer sinew?

: Many thanks,

: Malcolm
I have no idea about sinew's durabilty, but - in my experience - 20' of it won't get you very far, at all.

Good luck!
Dave
