: Now that I have over 100 clamps, I need a better way to keep them
: all organized. I used to chuckle at "clamping
: stations" as being an unnescessary luxury, but now I see
: the need. I have seen one in a woodworking magazine that was a
: "teepee" style with bars for the clamps and rollers.
: Pretty basic, but maybe too fat for my small shop. I need
: something very compact that can roll around a very small shop
: and get between building stands what-not. I thought I'd put an
: APB out for pics of your clamping station or how you organize
: your clamps in your shop. It's a pretty basic thing, and I can
: easily make something, but I just thought I'd see what you guys

That's why I'm putting up all this pegboard. The clamps all go on pegs and I keep the spring clamps separated by maker because each brand has slightly different clamping pressure. Helpful that each maker has their own color. Sometimes less is more. I gave up on rolling things, easier to have everything in it's place then you at least know where everything is without having to hunt for it.
