Announce: Annual Dookey-Schmutz Award *PIC*

I have too much time on my hands even when I am busting butt in the garage to get a project completed. I think too much...wayyyyy too much. I have therefore decided to start the Annual Dookey-Schmutz Award to a deserving building. I will mail each annual award to said deserved builder, with their permission of course, to those I know who have a "problem" or inability to stop building, get out of the shop/garage and go see a lover or a movie. I know lovers and movies get in the way of what is really important but hey, sometimes a breath of fresh air is needed. Keeps building in perspective. I fully expect each recipient to post a pic of themselves (plural if you are schizo) holding the award and posting prodigious excuses as to why they can't stop building. This award will be sent out during January around the same time that I post my annual safety reminder. This years recipient will, of course, get the award somewhat late since I only just thought about the idea after working long hours in the garage on my Night Heron Art Project and sipping some of my own fine home-made. This is no drunken after-thought (although on other days it could be) but is my "fun" way of adding humor and genuine respect for those who are passionate about building. Oh yeah, the award pic posted shows this fine new award not completed. I remind you, the onus to post the pic of the final award is upon the recipient. Country matters not to me, the award will be shipped anywhere a builder sniffs fresh epoxy.
