My experience with the CLC rolls I got 2+ years ago, is that it's much better than what I could buy locally, at either HD, Lowe's, ACE, or other. I did try, after having messed up my first roll. Everyone will tell you it's the same grade stuff. Maybe in some localities it is. The CLC stuff is very compressible neoprene-ish material. Anything I could buy in similar dimensions was denser and less compressible.
