Well you're going to need additional frames to make a strip deck on it. The bulkheads are way too far apart to support the strips while it's being built. Once stripped and glassed though the deck will likely be considerably stronger than the ply version so no deck beams will be required.

Coamings should be fine, though they are added after it's stripped so unless the curves are the same they might not fit.
